The dream I had was one of those you might call "lucid." I dreamed of being by a stream, where it started running black muck, which stepping into it was gooey black mud. I remembered the dream vividly. About a week after this, there was a major coal sludge spill in KY in which streams were polluted.
I don't profess to by "psychic" at all. I think all of us, really, EVERYONE of us, has this ability from time to time, in which we get such messages.

A side note, I go to show and sell my art on rocks at the Universal Life Expo twice a year. I do this because my art is somewhat spiritual in nature. About half the booths at this large fair are psychic readers. People on both sides of my booth ...I can hear them doing their "readings." People who pay these charlatans to give them advice...seem desperate. Many of them are crying tears when they go to these "readers." Sad that they pay money to have these readings. One woman, I could hear her doing her spiel...the same with everyone who paid for her "insight."

It really is strange how these sort of dreams happen. I've heard of these "dream of the event before it happens" dreams many times before from friends, family, random people, etc. I even recently read a study on people published in a major psychology journal (I forgot which one) that did an experiment to test something along the lines of a "psychic" strength, although they called it something more logical. I think they mentioned testing how much a person was predisposed to knowing something without physically experiencing the event. The results they found were surprising. Okay, here's the article: http://caps.ucsf.edu/wordpress/wp-co...02/bem2011.pdf. Someone else on this forum posted it in the past. I didn't read the whole thing, but there were some people who were consistently much more adept than others at sensing what was tested with only their mind. And the tests seemed very thorough and included a large, diverse range of people. I wonder if the world may be a stranger place than people think .

I'm sorry to hear about the "psychics" who take advantage of those people. Maybe they can sleep at night knowing they gave the person some hope somehow, but still, it's very sad.

By the way, the artrox in your signature is very beautiful .

Maybe you should be one of those "Readers" as well. You seem to have the ability.
Thanks for this!

LOL...no, I could never do that. I think these dreams are random, happen to any of us.
When I was in high school, my sister told me she had had a dream of a schoolmate being drowned. She woke up, and there was a phone call that the boy in her dream had been drowned in the Coal River. I know for a fact this happened. Sister, probably more than me, had a psychic gift. She has been involved in Pentecostal religion for years now.
