I had a dream early this morning in which I was at a meeting with a group of women. We were doing an activity like drawing a comic, and we had to draw pictures in the rectangles and write what the woman in charge said. It was like a riddle, and I was wondering if there was any meaning in it. I can't remember one word of it, but it was, "The only difference between ?? (maybe "inside"??) and the cold is the door." I mean, it's an obviously simple thought. Of course it is!! But not something I've actually thought about. I'm sure something so simple must have a deeper meaning??

Very interesting birdpumpkin. I wonder if that is a puzzle your inner self posed for your outer self. The words may not be as helpful to analyze as remembering the pictures in the dream. Sometimes just sitting quietly something pops into our head.

Thanks CANDC. I remember in the dream seeing my hand drawing in the rectangle, and it was drawing a door and then wrote the words. I know doors can have many meanings, and I was thinking the inside may be safety, and the outside, "cold," could be danger or threat or fear... The door would be the way to either one of them. Also in the dream I just saw the various people there being in a group setting. What was strange, though, and I remember it specifically because it was strange, was that among the group of women was a man I know who was recently widowed.

I have had dreams of people and they had either lost people or died themselves. I think we are connected in many ways. Maybe that man needs someone to reach out to him in his time of grief. He seemed to be that one that made the biggest impression on you.

That's a thought. It's still very fresh for him - just a few months, and he has a couple children, too. I very rarely see him around. Mom goes to church with his family. They're very loving so I'm sure have been trying to help him. It has to be hard.
