Since taking taking Citalopram I have had a lot more dreams most of which I forget on waking. But this one stuck perhaps because I woke before it was quite over.

I was standing on platform at top of a very tall stone tower with my wife. The platform looked like an old orange door I use to front my garden compost bin, and each end rested on wooden rails attached to the walls of undressed stone. We have recently returned from a holiday in the north looking at castles and such made of stone.

Next to and slightly above and beyond the door platform was wooden floored loft sort of thing. I leant across and took hold of the loft thing thinking perhaps this was not a good idea given the precariousness of our position and sure enough a baulk of old timber came off in my hand. The bulk looked like an old rafter I had seen in skip down the road where a loft conversion was going on, and I intended to appropriate the timber from the skip after dark.

At the same time the door platform slid back and fell leaving my wife cling on to the wall rail and me to the loft thing and the baulk falling into space.

Then I awoke.

Hi, ManofConstantSorrow, and welcome to Psych Central! Actually, dreams about falling are fairly common. Sometimes the person wakes up and realizes they are at the edge of the bed.

What do you make of this dream?
