I had a pretty (*very*) rough day yesterday to the point that I actually cried (i'm not a crier). While i'm often a vivid dreamer, I haven't remembered much of my dreams lately. However, I do remember last nights dream where I remember going to a bathroom and peeing on/completely soaking myself. It was a weird bathroom with three doors, little privacy in the back of some kind of sweatshop with a clear covering instead of solid walls/doors. I looked on the site I normally use and found that the meaning of said dream was quite ironic because it summarized yesterday 'to the t'.

Quote:
Urination: To see urine in your dream represents the feelings you have rejected. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on your "pissy" attitude...To dream that you are urinating symbolizes a cleansing and a release of negative or repressed emotions. Depending on your dream context, urination is symbolic of having or lacking basic control of your life. You are literally "pissed off" and not expressing yourself in a positive or constructive manner...To dream that you are urinating in public symbolizes a lack of privacy in some personal matter. Alternatively, the dream means that you are trying to establish your boundary and "mark your territory."

Teal, wow! (About to embarass myself). As a child & young adult I often dreamed I was urinating in private. Usually, wet my bed. The interpretation of rejecting feelings, negative & repressed emotions, lacking control of my life, sounds like my childhood. Hugs.
Thanks for this!

This dream shows that you are being to hard on yourself. Being "pissed" at yourself to much. You also feeling a little volerunable. There may be a situation in real life that is causing to feel this way. Others are involved here. You may be "pissed" off at them as well.

It's okay, I occasionally have those kind of dreams too (gratefully this wasn't one of them). I'm so sorry you had to deal with that in your childhood - I can completely relate. IT sucks.

Thanks Thunder; yup - I know exactly the real life situation that was involved in this scenario. And yup....lots of pissed-off-ness, some vulnerability, and more. Yesterday was a rough day.

Back in elementary school I used to dream that I would somehow get to school either in my underwear or completely naked. They felt terrible, and everyone else laughed at me and called me stupid and other elementary insults. Ugh, they were completely vivid, and they felt terrible. I still shiver thinking about those dreams. I don't like those internet dream interpretation sites.

Hope that you feel better soon.
