Hello, sorry to bother you all with such a non specific and ultimately not important issue, but I juat would like a little outside input.
As a child I used to have such vivid dreams. I loved my dreams, they were So enjoyable to experience and even now I can remember many of them. Recently however they're losing their luminescence and becomeing more infrequent. While I used to have a dream every other night now I may get one only once or twice a week, the rest of thw days just being blackness. Even when I do get them now they are much less stable and disjointed. Is this something that's normal? Is there a way to reverse it? Thank you for your time.

Hello another cliché: I guess I can't say whether or not your dream experience is common or not. I do think that medications can have an impact on dreaming. I know if I forget, on occasion, to take my SNRI, that night I'll "go to the movies", as I like to say!

It may not be you're not dreaming but rather, for some reason, you're not remembering them. Have you ever looked into the practice of "lucid dreaming"? I have not. But I understand that it is a technique by which practitioners learn to control their dreams. I don't know how well it works or how difficult it is to learn. Perhaps other PC members may be more familiar with the technique. It may be worth checking out.

Children have more vivid dreams than adults. You are still doing well. Dreams always mirror our feelings and present day life, and how one sees one self.
