I've been having a really hard time sleeping lately.
I keep waking up at odd times through out the night, sometimes even really earliy in the morning.
I'm aslo having vivid dreams.
Which is apperantly really expected when your pregnant.
I had a really violent dream one night where I had decapitated my ex boyfriends head, and I was going around talking about to people... so screwed up I know.
I absouetly can not sleep with my clothes on, as it feels too restricting on me. I'm not sure If there is much I can take while I'm pregnant to help me sleep. Maybe invest In a body pillow?
I have to get up really early through out the week to go to school,
I sometimes have a really hard time even waking up, and getting out of bed after my alarm goes off. If anyone has any suggestions It would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I believe u could try chamomile tea or lavender chamomile lotion. They are soothing and help to relax the min and body for sleep. I have heard a body pillow is beneficial to have while pregnant. Good luck

My SIL swears by the body pillow. It allowed her to sleep comfortably during her 2 pregnancies.

I suggest you talk to your OB about this. It may be your hormones.

And when I am having difficulty sleeping I will have some chamomile tea or some warm milk with honey.
Thanks for this!

I hear you! I am pregnant to and the pregnancy pains wake me up more often so I remember them and can have more vivid dreams which are unsettling. I think a v pillow can help as well as sleeping with nothing on. I try to read a tame book before bed which helps and I've found lying on my right side helps me to go back to sleep quicker.

T here's been some great suggestions. Do you sleep with the TV on? I also think, if it's possible to you, that sometimes sleeping in complete silence/darkness can help. I used to have horrible anxiety that stopped me from doing this, but Minimal distractions really are a good thing.
