It's been two years since I slept through the night. Falling asleep is usually easy (with the help of Benadryl and medical marijuana), but I wake up every hour or two all night long.

Mornings have gotten worse. I used to be able to sleep until 7:30 or 8:00, but for the past week it's been 5:30. My logic and reasoning are all out of whack. My Pdoc says she won't give me anything to help me sleep until my sleep study (still several weeks away). I'm scared of what this lack of sleep is doing to me.

All my depression, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms have gotten so much worse in the past week. I feel like I'm completely losing my mind. :-(

Lack of sleep really does make everything worse. Have you tried taking magnesium? I should take some right now too. I just took 2 tizanidine.
Thanks for this!

I've never tried magnesium, but I'm desperate. I'll pick some up tomorrow. Thank you!

I hope it will help a little. I just took some. It's good for restless leg too.
Thanks for this!

A little better, but not a whole lot. Thanks for asking. I can't wait for my sleep study!

I have similar sleep problems and completed the sleep study 10 years ago. I was rated 40 on the sleep apnea scale which is how often I stop breathing per hour. I snore, but husband said I never noticeably hold breath. Unfortunately I was given a bulky mask w/ 2 straps and couldn't adjust. Time for an updated one. Sleep studies and CPAP machine and meds have come a long way. My best to you - and hopefully to many years of good nights of sleep coming up.

Thank you so much. My boyfriend has observed me stopping breathing, but not since I bought a memory foam pillow that forces me to sleep on my side. So it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I can't wait to sleep again! :-)
