I've been taking sleeping pills for my insomnia and ever since it started I've been having nightmares about my boyfriend. It always results in him ignoring me, me hurting him, or him leaving me alone for a long time. I'm getting so paranoid about it. I told him a bout some of my dreams and it makes him upset so I keep it all to myself now; I haven told anyone else. I'm sick of being so paranoid and jealous over every little thing that happens in my dreams. I don't want to have these dreams about him; it's terrible

Sorry to hear you are having troubled sleep. Many people report side affects from sleeping medications. Your doctor could help you find a medication that does not have these side affects. Dreams can also express our deepest fears and anxieties even if they are not based on outer situations that are happening. A therapist is another path to go to help find out more about ourselves. Dreams are about feeling. Your dreams are mirroring how you are feeling about your relationship with him. Your feelings, and how you think how he is feeling about you. Maybe you feel left out around him? are you angry over this feeling?
