Im really depressed and cant sleep.

I haven't slept for three days. I just cant sleep. Depression is literally killing me I don't know how to handle it.

I'm going through some things.

I don't really have anyone I'm comfortable talking to about this. I have one friend I can talk to about it, my ex would understand best and be most comforting for me but Im doing NC, and then my sister.... But being that her BF is a drug dealer and got me hooked and now Im a recoverig addict and when of his distributors is banging my ex (which doesnt help) I really want to keep her out of my life.

Any suggestions?

Exercise is good for sleep, as well as depression. And, of course, seeing a therapist would also be a good option... or perhaps a therapy or support group. You mentioned you're a recovering addict. Is there a support group for recovering addicts you could join? If you aren't working, or in school full time, perhaps consider finding some volunteer work to do.

Really the things you need to do include: find something to take your mind off your worries, tire yourself out (physically), & find someone or some group where you can talk about your feelings & your fears. Good luck with this...
