I don't like going to sleep. Sometimes I get insomnia, but even if I fall asleep quickly and stay asleep I'd rather be awake so put off going to sleep. Sleeping is so boring, and I get a lot of night owl energy late at night.

Koko, I have had periods of my life where I got a kind of manic rush from staying up most of the night and doing creative things like drawing or painting.

I understand sleeping is not exciting but it is an essential way our mental life functions in a stable way.

Some people pose questions or work on problems in their sleep. It does not have to be a total write off. Keeping dream notebooks can help see what our subconscious is trying to work out in sleep.
