Hello , this maybe an old wives tale ( a UK phrase , us urban myth) though I do remember this happening .
Find your way to the seaside
Meander your way along the prom (US =boardwalk)
Walk till the sun sets
And the crowds have left
Get a hotel room
Lie on the fresh linen sheets
Smell the salty air and the faint cry of the last gulls
And float away ......to a nice sleep bo bos (UK phrase mums says to their new babies)

I can remember this happening when I was a wee knipper (US = little kid)
Nighty night
Thanks for this!
