Does anyone else here have Restless Leg Syndrome? It's a horrible problem to have and keeps me awake almost every night. I just wondered if there were any more night walkers here besides me.

I have RBS (restless brain syndrome). Ambien works ok. I probably need a lobotomy really.

Yes, since I was very young. I called it" crazy legs" and got in trouble all the time for getting out of bed. I take Mirapex with some success. It is miserable at times.

Hello , your legs are not alone jelly bean

I went through a period of restless legs , I wasn't sure if was meds , anxiety or there are conditions like polymalgia rhuemantica that cause restless legs.

My restless legs eventually went though

There are lots of treatments for it. I have it as well and it's really frustrating. Do you by any chance have iron deficiency anemia? It's a common cause that's often overlooked. Maybe something to get checked out.

I too have RLS, but mine is not only my legs but my arms too. I have bouts of my arms punching out on their own. It's horrilbe when the legs (or arms too in my case) start when you are juuuusssttt about to fall asleep. My mom was the representative for the RLS Foundation for the entire state of New Mexico (she has the legs really bad). She has gone through the gamet of all the drugs, even on Vicodin and morphine for a while. The best thing we have found is Gabapentin. We have gotten to a high dosage, but it helps a lot. Talk to your dr to see if that would be something that may help you too.

Good luck and WANDER ON

I can't keep my magnesium and iron levels up. When that happens I get RLS. And it's no creepy crawlies and it's not only in my legs. It is pain. It took me ages to realize this is really RLS. I had the weird idea RLS was feeling restless in some way. It is sooo not.

I have RLS and fibromyalgia among other things. I take a fairly high dose of gabapentin which mostly cures the RLS and helps a little with the fibromyalgia. RLS is an awful condition... the feelings used to start up just at the moment I was drifting off to sleep. Just when you so much want to relax you can't. I've had it since childhood. Thank goodness the gabapentin mostly cures it.

I have RLS too. Usually these days it's not so bad but I do take gabapentin.
