alright. i can clearly remember having this same type of the dream-always the same person,at least three times before. it makes me sick. In the dream said person is seemingly innocent and nice and genuinely has no intentions,seems to love me like an older brother,(in real life this is the man who molested me) and I always try and be the one who tries to 'seduce' him, and in the dream i always want him to want me,but in real life he makes me so sick...
even the smell of pot makes me sick,not ill,but feel..gross. (he smelled like pot sometimes because he liked to smoke weed,i don't know. he was a stupid teenage loser. he still is a loser.) i just always feel so disgusting after these dreams and i hate him so much.

I am sorry that you have to go through this and I hope that things get better soon.

I have nightmares frequently about the sexual abuse that happened to me a little over a year ago. And sometimes specific articles of clothing or smells trigger me and I feel really anxious and on edge.

It's really hard but hopefully with therapy you can process it and the feelings won't be so bad. Also there are some medications that help reduce the span of REM sleep (like Minipress) so that the chances of having those dreams is less likely.
