i've just gotta get this out
last night i had a dream i was with my dad and i was little and i can't remember how it started of course but he

i'm sorry i just needed to say it. gotta write it out to accept it was real. didn't know if i should put it here or on the survivors of abuse section. thanks for listening

Sounds like a dreadful dream. If a repressed memory, as you're alluding to by questioning which forum, it's best worked through with a clinically trained therapist that specializes in csa work.

Just keep in mind sexual abuse dreams can appear for reasons other than being repressed memories. They can be symbolic of how you were treated emotionally or how you are relating to yourself emotionally. That is the case with me - - when I was first in therapy I had many sexual abuse dreams but I discovered they were symbolic for how I was relating to myself.

It could also be a memory.

Do you have any conscious memories of CSA?
