Greetings. This may be a long post because I've had some off the wall dreams and it would be cool to learn more about why I have them. You all might find them interesting and I've even considered writing books about them so here goes nothing:

Dream 1: it was the year 2058 and I was a skilled assassin with advanced stealth technology, a retractable plasma blade, and an eye implant that could allow me to see through walls and could turn my eyes into a ranged laser weapon. In this time period, the governments in the world became more controlling and oppressive than ever before so I became a freedom fighter and started assassinating politicians. After killing a couple hundred of them, I went after the president while he was in front of 12,000 people doing a speech. I beheaded him and chunked his head into the crowd and held out against the military before finally being overwhelmed and killed. I was cyropreserved and revived in the year 2306 and told I was the savior of humanity.

Dream 2: it was 7 years from now and I was a self taught inventor making 3d printed electronics and implants. I figured out how to make cybernetic limbs that gave me super human strength, brain implants that could mind control people or increase their intelligence to superhuman levels, implants that could give control over metal similar to Magneto from X-Men, and hand upgrades that could shoot lightning out of my hands like a Sith from Star Wars. Using these implants, I augmented myself into a super soldier and the first thing that I did was went to my ex's house and kidnapped her and put the mind control implant into her brain which forced her to love me unconditionally and obey my every command which included breaking off with her family and friends and living in my bunker with me. Afterwards, I went after the white house wearing a trench coat and sunglasses kind of resembling the Terminator's. I took on an entire army squad by using my Magneto implant to turn their bullets against them. Afterwards, I went inside, found the Vice President using the restroom. When he went to wash his hands I used my lightning implant to shock him to death with his hands under the water. After that I went up to the president and ripped his head off with my super strength limbs and pressed the big red button to start WW3 by launching a Nuke. While doing this, the dream ended with me pulling my sunglasses off and my eyes glowing a deep demonic red and gold.

Dream 3: I was a body mod freak in the near future obsessed with wanting to become a super intelligent and super strong cyborg. I wanted to take away any emotions and make my brain like a computer CPU to eliminate any weakness and seek out absolute perfection. I wanted to make myself completely immortal complete with immunity to all disease and other defects and give myself the ability to back my brain into a computer and be able to restore it to another body in the event of my death. I began to make progress when some aliens contacted me and gave me a chance to live on their planet and learn from them claiming that they were giving the chance only to the most intelligent and open minded of humanity. I accepted and went to live with them along with 2 of my friends and the aliens helped me learn that my reckless desire of power and perfection was going to be my downfall and they taught me how to love and be happy without becoming attached to another person. Way later on, they gave me a spaceship and let me explore the universe free of limitations.

I wonder what these mean. Pretty much all of my dreams that I remember follow the same theme or at the very least describe a less detailed story of me in some kind of struggle, power play, or me simply escaping the planet.

You were acting like an out of control Super Robot out of a poorly written violent SyFy Movie Made for TV. Fits right along with "Robocrock" and "Sharknado". Maybe consider getting a job writing for the SyFy Channel. Your dreams do show you got some creative writing ability.

Thanks haha Why do most of my dreams follow the same theme though? A SyFy or fantasy based dream where I have some kind of special ability or super power and I either go attack the government or people who have hurt or wronged me?

I also have more dreams than I should involving past exes or evil women and me kidnapping and controlling them somehow and forcing them to love and idolize me with some kind of super ability?

Point being, ALL of my dreams that I can remember involve me being powerful and invading or controlling people or escaping the planet. Why would that be? Am I a bad person for having these kind of dreams?

No. Look at real life situations and how you act in them. Do you feel the need to be in Control of the situation? Do you feel others are trying to control you, and you have to fight back? Look at your real life situations. Do you feel in control?

I do often feel powerless or too reliant on other people. I feel the need to be in control of every aspect in my life including my interpersonal relations out of fear of being hurt.

I also have difficulties getting women to love or accept me and have been abused or have felt trapped for most of my life and I have trust issues and difficulties bonding with people which makes it difficult to form a relationship for any more than a few months at a time so I feel the need to manipulate and try to control the relationships that I get into which is likely the reason for the mind control based dreams at least.

I also am heavy into fantasy/Sci-Fi and I'm a tech addict as well and I was reading some articles on the internet about how we have already developed brain implants that can make a monkey not like bananas or control the body movement of a rat so I think that being able to do the same thing to humans isn't that far off.

The scary thing? Part of me truly thinks that putting such an implant in a woman's head would be the only way I could ever be in a long term relationship without her wanting to abandon me later down the road.

Bullying, as you now see, is all about Control. Those who bullied you were trying to control you. Those who you manipulated, you were trying to bully them, and control them, for the reasons you seem to be quite aware of. Good work, on seeing this. Bullying is also all about getting attention. Our dreams can be good teachers.

Dreaming is like escaping to your own world. It is a reflection of your subconscious self. Maybe you need to have more control of your life since you are escaping to somewhere you are more vulnerable to.

You guys are certainly right. I will take what you all said into consideration as I move forward.

All of my dreams that I'm seeking power and control in though (especially the more recent ones) involve me overthrowing the government somehow. Is there a reason why this would be in particular?

P.S I've had a new, very recent dream to add to my collection of over the top power trip dreams. In this dream I was a Sith Lightning Sorcerer that got transported to present day Earth by some type of wormhole or rift. I posed as a terrorist in this dream (keep in mind they didn't know about my powers and I could shoot lightning out of my fingers like it was nothing) to get locked up in their hidden prison for terrorists so I could infiltrate them and do a massive prison break. I did just that.

Upon revealing my powers the government sent the most deadly special forces against me including most of the Navy Seals. I killed them all with lightning slowly while gaining more power from each kill the more painful that I made it while relishing in their fear and drinking their tears. They didn't stand a chance and I enjoyed it. Any who opposed me were slowly disintegrated into ash in the most painful way possible by my lightning to where their families couldn't even identify them. Even their DNA was fried so there was no way to confirm who they are leaving their families especially pained.

On the off chance that one of their bullets actually hit me I could perform dark side rituals to cheat death and heal my wounds. I then conjured a massive force lightning storm which took two hours and leveled Washington D.C including the White House.

My name was Darth Archonis, A name that I don't recall being in any Star Wars based movie, book, comic, or game. I was dressed in a jet black hooded robe with spiked gauntlets and my eyes glowed dark purple and black and my skin was pale white. The dream ended with me forcing society to worship me as a god and killing any who dared defy me.

I really am screwed up, am I? haha

To be fair though, I DO currently play a Star Wars based MMO on and off and I do play as Sith and you can do some evil things and everything about playing one is about gaining a power base and overthrowing those more powerful than you. I only play the game casually (rarely more than 3 hours a day) so I don't see how it alone could impact my dreams. Also the only Sorcerer that I play in that game is female lol.

I think we go through phases of having the same or similar dreams often tenuously related to happenings in our lives and our feelings about our lives.

Why? So I can be dull and boring like most everybody else? lol.

Besides, I would rather keep having dreams like this. It would seem that I could make a lot of money writing stories or making my own video games about them

As I said in my 1st post, you are a creative writer. I say go for it, as long as you are not re-enforcing bad feelings about your self and others.
