Hello.
Most, if not all dreams this days involve me playing, or being a character in, a video game. Type varies. The game ALWAYS gets switched off before the dream ends, most of the times being the cause.
Today's dream:
Sewers, climbing up a ledge with two friends of mine when suddenly...Dementors! (Harry potter soulsucking monster I am not fond of) someone drives the first one away, but the water level rises and I go under, I see hands fumbling with a power button and the dream ends.
Odd for me, bad dreams are not too common, but always use some kind of creature.

You dreams may be your mind processing real life situations, and your feelings.

Perhaps you play video games a lot? I find most of my dreams have a "theme" if I devote too much time per day to any one activity.
