As a child between the ages 8 to 12 I had a recurring nightmare in which I would have trouble waking up from. In the dream a little boy and a little girl in a dress were holding hands and walking down the sidewalk across the street from my home. They were contented and happy. Then portions of the image of the children would begin to be blocked out like blank puzzle pieces until the image disappeared and there was nothing but blankness. I would have a hard time waking up from the dream and still be dreaming even after I opened my eyes. For a little bit I couldn't really see or feel what was around me. What could this dream mean
