I managed to actually get to sleep last night without waking up scared in the morning. I think the anti-anxiety medicine I was taking helped. I definitely have a lot of stuff to deal with, but...this is at least a step forward. Thank God.

Thanks! Yeah, I think the anti-anxiety meds are helping. Just in the falling asleep department. Meanwhile, I should also work on coping skills. According to my therapist, the usual techniques are distraction, relaxation and meditation (I think). So I better use these. And get into a good routine prior to bed.
