Can't say that I have much to report in my dream, except for a Harry Potter fanfic that seemed to be made up of different universes: one where the Dursleys were actually nice people and decent adoptive parents (I know, I know it's probably horrific and unlikely but that was how it was in the dream), one that was set in the Methods of Rationality verse and trying to defeat Quirrell/Voldemort and they ran into that version of Sirius Black, who actually was a bad guy in this (and the dream was kind of making up some reasons as to how he could have become a bad guy), and there was one where Dudley ended up angering the wrong people, and Harry was

Possible trigger:

Then I was at home with my brother and we were reading Prisoner of Azkaban or having it read aloud to us by some sort of...performer, I guess, only my brother was younger in the dream, kind of a small kid, and he was starting to ask questions about a scene that happened only in the book Goblet of Fire with the whole Ton Tongue Toffee incident.

And there was another bit with Kylo Ren making a cameo. It was the scene where -- spoilers --

Possible trigger:

I guess that part might have also come up because of me getting back to writing my versions of Episodes Eight and Nine. A bit of my writing life reflecting through dreams.

Also, before I actually got to sleep, I got this weird feeling like somebody was in my bedroom, had just passed my bed, even though my door was shut. I think it might have been my mom -- or a woman like her. It was strange too, like more of a gust of air than anything else. Either way, it was a pretty creepy incident and I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me or if my room needs an exorcist (semi-kidding here!).

So yeah. Weird night, weird nonsensical dreams. At least unlike with last time, I didn't wake up in terror unable to get back to sleep at five-ish in the morning. I think the neurofeedback yesterday helped.

..... "A bit of my writing life reflecting through dreams". ....

As it should. You are using the full power of your mind in your writing.

There could be some paranormal activity in your room.
Thanks for this!

Too early to tell for paranormal activity. Especially as you're falling asleep. If it constinues or worsens, then you'll have a better answer.

Meanwhile, yeah - considering your track record for dreams, having a calm, "reflecting life" dream like this is a good sign. It means your subconscious isn't needing further resolutions to something you've uncovered.

Well, that's a relief. I think the neurofeedback helped. As for paranormal activity...maybe I can install a camera in my room and see if it catches anything funny. (Though that will be one heck of a thing to explain to my parents! I honestly don't think anybody was in my room because I just know the door was closed. Maybe to actually check, I can lock my door or something)

Go watch Paranormal Activity 1....

Then you'll understand why videotaping your room while you sleep can be a baaaaaad idea. :P

Ah. Okay.

And the funny thing is, tonight when I took the anti-anxiety meds and went to sleep, I didn't really have that experience. So maybe the feelings I got in the room were really my anxiety playing tricks on me. Thank God.

I say go and use a camera in your room. The more you know the more you go. If the camera catches anything post the link to the video here, so we can see what it is. If you get nothing, then you know it is just your anxiety.

Well, the good news is that I haven't had instances like this since I got the neurofeedback, thank goodness. So it's probably just my anxiety. Thank God.

And yeah. Be careful what you ask for indeed.
