Hi,

I am currently going through a breakup, I left my emotionally (and occasional physical) abusive boyfriend 3 weeks ago and it's quite difficult as he is trying to get me back and constantly in touch with pictures of us when happy and is confused as to why I have left him! Anyway, that's a bit of back story for you, my heart is closed to him and even though I love him I know I can't go back to that life.

So...last night, I had a lovely dream where I was with friends and my boyfriend (a complete stranger, but lovely looking and a really nice shy and respectful guy) was there, he was acting quite nervous which was quite endearing so we were teasing him at times, he then said he needed to talk to me and all of a sudden his face lit up and he proposed to me. I was over the moon and said yes, we were hugging and he kept on saying how happy I made him and how much he loved me.

I then woke up.

Weirdly, this dream has given me such a boost and I feel amazing.

Hopefully this is a premonition lol.

Can anyone interpret this please?

Many thanks
x

Hello intriguedone: I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral... from the Skeezyks! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

I'm afraid I'm not the member to interpret your dream for you. It simply sounds to me like you're feeling very hopeful there is another, better, romantic relationship in your future. I hope that it is so... good luck!

I can't interpret either, but it sure made me smile.

Hi Skeezyks
Yep, first posting but it's a great site - well the threads i've read so far, hopefully they are going to be helpful for me.

Lol, no worries for the no interpretation, but i'm happy that's what you thought, I really do hope that's the case, especially as the dream boyfriend/fiance was the polar opposite to my normal type (shy, endearing, always go for popular, big drinker, big personality, salesman lol)

Thankyou x

This dream means you left the abusive boyfriend behind. The shy young man is a part of you. This is the kind of person you want to seek now. No more will you put up with abuse.
