And I mean hysterical uncontrollable crying.

I dream about my ex husband, I'm not entirely sure of the content of the dream but it was about him and I literally couldn't breathe in my dream due to crying

I have these sometimes, I don't personally think there's anything to worry about with them. It's just one of those things you might not be able to control.

Why he's an ex? Do you still love him or you're sad it's finished?

I've never had dreams with crying but I had some dreams with one of my ex-es and it was always leaving me in the morning with a feeling of a great loss even though it was me who eventually broke up and started dating others. It ended when I worked the feeling through and accepted the fact we won't be together anymore as this was rational thing to do. It wasn't just the proper age, place or time for us.

I think all the crying means you have finally let go of him.
