Hello,

I have always had vivid dreams nightly since I can remember. I also have great recall of my dreams, I don't have to keep a diary. (I still remember a dream from 4 yrs old!)

Since taking Trazodone, I no longer dream, (or just don't know if I did).

I know that dreams are useful in dealing with our feelings. Does anyone think that I could be losing a vital part of my ability to work out my feelings by no longer dreaming?

It was prescribed to me in 2014 on my first visit ever to a Pdoc that spent 3 minutes with me before prescribing it (and others). I took a computer survey of yes and no answers by a staff member first, before the Pdoc walked into the room with 'script pad in hand. He never even sat down. I saw him for 3 minutes! I went back to that place 4 more times, and never saw the Pdoc again. I just paid my $100 fee at the desk and was handed refill prescriptions only. My GP writes the refills now. I was never told why I was given Trazodone. I have just begun seeing a Pdoc I really like, (2nd visit will be in Sept) and will ask her about the Trazodone. I'm not looking for any advice on that drug.

What I am hoping for is an opinion of the effects of loss of my dreams. I have found my dreams useful to work out many of my feelings throughout my life.

Thanks for your opinions on not being able to dream and how that may affect my well being.

Talk to your doctor about getting off the medication.

Thank you, Thunder bow.

I feel confident that my new doctor will agree that I should stop that medication.

FYI: My husband and I are really enjoying your youtube channel!
