Greetings! A bit of background: I'm a 28 (29 on Monday!) year old woman who's been married for 7 years. We don't have any kids yet (nor have I ever been pregnant before.)

Lately both my husband and I are having lots of pregnancy/baby dreams. In this last week, my hubby has dreamt about me being pregnant at least twice. He says they are simple dreams, nothing too involved or complex with a plot, just simple things like seeing me working in the garden, and he comes up to give me a hug from behind and puts his hands on my little baby belly and it made him happy.

My dreams are also pretty simple, usually its just me doing whatever I normally do, but then I notice I've got this pregnant belly sticking out and I smile a lot with my hands on the belly, waiting for the baby to kick.

I did have one that was a bit more involved a few weeks ago. I was standing outside, at a rivers edge, admiring the pretty summer scenery, holding an adorable little blond toddler on my hip. I hugged him close, and he nuzzled into my chest. It was just so adorable and perfect, it was a great feeling, made me feel so happy and complete. Then he slowly turned into a frog and hopped away into the river. I tried to chase after him at first, but once he got to the water I couldn't follow any further. Then I woke up.

Hubby and I don't want to have kids just yet... planning to wait until around 32 or so. Need to be more financially stable first! (btw I'm 100% positive I'm not pregnant right now.) But I'm wondering if these dreams have any significant meaning, or if they're just biology kicking in and saying, "Hey! You can have kids now so you probably should!"

Thanks!

My guess would be that you see the milestone of your 30th coming soon and subconsciously may believe that you should have a baby by that age. I wouldn't worry about it, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders.
I'm 58, had 4 kids which is all I wanted, but I have a dream now and then that I'm pregnant now. That most certainly is NOT my desire. lol

First the dreams, mean you are happy with yourself, and you are within innocence and trust. You hopped into the River, that is Life! The baby is your new self. Of course you are looking forward to having a family.

I also get frequent pregnancy dreams, but I think mine are more due to fear than anything else (I'm only 20, turning 21 in less than 2 weeks). Usually my babies in my dreams are never actually born, but the few times that they have been, I felt really happy. Other than that I felt terror wash over my whole body when finding out I was pregnant. I have never been pregnant in real life, and do not intend to until around 30 like you. I need to get better first! These dreams certainly distress me because I don't know what I'd do if I were to get pregnant right now
