Maybe this isn't the most appropriate place to post this, but sometimes I imagine that someone from my family dies, and it's making me feel scared. According to some other things I have seen in my mind, when I don't tell anybody about this, it happens, and when I say it, it just goes away. Two nights before I had a scary dream about how my brother was just four months away of the death of my mother (seeing it) and it really scared me (even now I feel scared). I hope that, by telling this to you: firstly, that this thing will go away like others, and secondly, to tell me if I have a problem, or a very rare and scary ability to see bad things, which I still can control?

And now I'm listening to Evanescence's "My heart is broken" and it scares me more and more... what's happening with me?

Hello sociopathbg: I'm afraid the Skeezyks doesn't believe in such things as premonitions. To me, it's simply a matter of coincidence. We might foresee one thing happening but not foresee 10, for example. But it is the one thing we did foresee that we remember. We forget about all of the things we didn't foresee at all... So, from my perspective, you're simply worrying yourself unnecessarily.

The What Ifs you are having are based in anxiety. Seeing bad things are usually based in anxiety. If you had a permonition, you would know it. That would be on a feeling level, not on the worry level.

No one really knows definitively about "psychic" phenomena. Some people experience premonitions and most people do not. However, it can be so unnerving to have such dreams one is forced to speculate.

What you can do:
Examine your real life. Examine the data coming into your mind to try to understand what is causing this anxiety. Anyone worried about a particular health concern or has anyone said words that would stir up the idea of dying? Sometimes we even here very tragic stories in passing, i.e. the news, movies, tv, what we take in on the internet, that cause us to dream about it happening in our own. The possibilities are endless!

I'm making a completely separate post on dream journals and interpretation but write down your dream and highlight the parts YOU believe are significant. With those highlighted parts, make side notes and describe the emotions surrounding those items and you'll have a good start to understanding the meaning of all this, if any.

I highly doubt your dream is a premonition but if you want to consider it a warning, there is nothing wrong with taking it that way. Don't we all need a little reminder once in awhile to be more careful, and to hug our loved ones extra tight and remind them to be mindful and careful?

The most popular archetype of "death" in dreams or other forms of esoteric contemplation is CHANGE. Something to think about.

"We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams." said Willy Wonka, (using a quote of poet Arthur O'Shaughnessy)

Even though many of us share the same archetypes and emotional dream symbols, which is the basis for all "dream dictionary" types of books, your dream is always personal in the end. The dream came from your mind, and that makes YOU the best interpreter of it.

Relax, cast aside all mental burdens and live lovingly and peacefully.

Take care!

I am having chronic pain in my mind about thinking of my sleepness in the night. I got worst nightmares, what I never dreamt off.
