Hey guys

Does anyone else have sleep patterns where you have insomnia - but once you are asleep.... thats it..... 12-14 hrs and its SOOOO hard to get up, the struggle to wake is stronger than the opposite of trying to fall asleep?
also I get terrible morning/waking apathy.... I'm not really functional until about 2 hours after waking!

even if I successfully bring my bed time earlier - I still can't get up i.e bed at 3am - wake 11am, Bed 10pm... wake 11am - theres no difference to how I feel when Waking! sleeping pills just dope me the next day!

Also I'm unrested when woken and generally quite a tired person!

It kind of feels like Im getting no adrenaline in the morning and my eyes ALWAYS feel tired!

Im not depressed but I am anxious - hense the 11pm-3am insomnia! So my mood when awake is generally positive!

Try relaxing one hour before bed time. No Media, just let your mind slowly quiet down.

I have times such as you have described, and some mornings I just let myself go back to sleep after breakfast and then try again later in the day. Being deeply involved in a given project can sometimes keep me going for two days straight with maybe an occasional "power nap" of an hour or so, but then a couple of quieter days can get me back to my variable 24-hour cycles.
