I generally consider dreams as being indicators of disturbance or conflict, but last night a recurring dream went in a much-different direction. I was in my mid-teens when I first became interested in automobile racing, and I did just a little of that when I was 17 and then again at around age 34. Ever since then I have occasionally had dreams about returning to the racetrack as a driver, but my car has either been lost somewhere or else it is sitting in disrepair on a trailer behind the track and I do not have the time and money for getting it running again. Last night, however, some people helped me pull it up to the pits and begin getting it rolling again, and then this morning I woke up wondering what might be there the next time that dream comes around.

The dream shows you are getting things rolling in your life. Thus it is a dream about improvement in your life.

Frustration and inability to do things in dreams are strong waking elements. You have not gotten over your wish or hope to be a racing driver.Your subconscious uses this fact as a waking element. It puts your brain into gear when you need to be woken! The subconscious sometimes varies the dream to fit or delay the waking or to lessen the shock. |
