I had a dream where I was as a funeral mass. I didn't know who the deceased person was but it was known it was someone from my college and lots of people from that college were in attendance. The mass started out very realistically. A hymn was sung as the casket was pushed up the isle. Then I noticed something different, instead of there being 6 pallbearers, there were over 50 of them walking double file behind the casket. But I didn't think much of it other than I thought it was different.
Towards the end of the line, I noticed someone laughing as if she thought what was happening was a joke or was funny, even though me and everyone else were very silent and solemn. I gave the person a weird look as they walked by. Then when the end of the line came up, I noticed another odd thing. Someone who had passed just over 7 years ago was walking as the very end of the procession. Knowing she was deceased, I was very confused, but didn't say anything at the moment. I just gave a quick hi as she walked by up to her seat. The procession finally ended and the mass began. Then it jumped to after the mass where people were gathering around and just talking, and I saw the deceased person I had known in real life again. She didn't look too happy, but otherwise nothing else happened. Also I never found out who has passed in the dream or why the one person was laughing. Then the dream ended there. Not sure what the dream could have represented. Not sure if it was somehow subconsciously about the person who had passed in real life or something entirely different. Although, if it was something different, then I'm not sure why the deceased person was a part of it. Also I e always wondered what it meant when you have a dream about a funeral, but you have no idea who passed and if you see the casket like I did, it is closed. Just curious at what it could mean. |

Regarding your dream, the dream scenario of a funeral precession describes how you felt during the sleep. It describes your mood: Quote:
My guess is that you were feeling down during the sleep and there is nothing more potent than the hint of death and dieing to get the brain working. |

Hey
Some folks believe dreams are full of meaning. Freud believed that the subconscious talks to you during sleep but the conscious part does everything in its power to confuse the message. Hence the strangeness of dreams. It's true though, dreams are meant to keep you asleep as well, like if you are hungry your dreams may involve eating. But, I believe, when there is conflict within your mind it manifests in your dreams. Interpretation is tricky, it cannot be done without your input, but I'll take a few stabs in the dark, once I think it over. |

The dreams means the end of one phase in your life. You are moving on in life. Your life is improving.
