I keep dreaming that I am choking and start to pull a string/rope from my throat and it goes on and on and on and I cant get rid of it. Its always really vivid.
Ive read online that it signifies a need to "cough up" or confess to something I'm not saying. Choking on words as such. Well I'm a student and sometimes I feel like confessing to having a disorder to try and be upfront and maybe surprise some people but I hold back. I did a counselling course years ago and I wanted people to judge me for me and not my illness so I kept it secret all the way through even when I was put directly in the spotlight, I was asked by a perplexed tutor "why are you here" and I closed up like a shell. It was the perfect moment oh well. |

Ive experienced a variety of nightmares. I used to dream that my teeth were falling out all the time. The meaning of this is supposedly fear of failure. Well ive surpassed failure, ive been at rock bottom, so maybe that's why I don't have them anymore
![]() I had a spate of having reoccurring dreams that were so realistic I thought id been awake the whole night, I'd dream my eyes were being pryed open and I paced the house non stop then id wake up with a start feeling my eyes had been open the whole times, I was usually sat up right on my bed. Its a peculiar feeling, and I did feel more tired the whole day. Thing is I know its not scary but it was annoying as hell. Feeling u hadn't rested. |

You were choking on your own words. Or I should say a string of words.

I think you sould forget about the "meanings" to your dreams. You seem to have several other problems that could cause your dreams. You take some medicins that caouse dryness in the mouth during sleep. Uour subconscious creates the dream to make you salivate during sleep so you can have some more sleep time. Your other problems is that you strain your eyes during the day, study long or use computer/ online device in a wrong way. Axiety and medicines/drugs also cause bad dreams. You got some good advice from several posters about buying and using medicins without medical advice. Bad dreams could be just one of the side effects. |
