I have been on 50 mg of trazodone for 5 weeks now.but I do not notice any improvement on my insomnia at all.i have struggled with insomnia for 30 plus years

Hello UCLAFan: I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time with your insomnia. I often have difficulty sleeping as well. I took trazadone for sleep quite a few years ago when I was on some antidepressants that kept me awake. It seemed to work well for me as I recall. But I'm pretty sensitive to medications in general it seems. Anyway... good luck with finding something that will work for you. It's so difficult to feel good about anything when you're exhausted...

Trazodone is the same one they've given me, and it also isn't helping me much. I take 100 mg now. Sleep issues are the worst.

Trazodone 100 mg doesn't work for me either. Maybe it's time to try something new?
