Hi all,

I'm rarely in this subforum, but I still hope it's ok if I post here...
I'm used to nightmares, I could fill horror books with them In those dreams there often is an awful amount of blood (blood streaming from walls in a room I'm locked in,, people bleeding to death, you get the picture)
What i dreamt today is new, which is why I'm kind of disturbed by it... I was coughing up blood. Huge amounts of blood, mixed with some sort of a disgusting sluggish fluid. I don't know. I felt awful and sick during the dream. I tried to stop coughing, which of course was impossible...
Any ideas on what that could mean? Or ideas how I could stop this stupid nightmares?
Hugs from:

Hi Demunie,
Dreams especially bad dreams and nightmares are caused by something that happens during the sleep.
Coughing blood was probably caused by an acid reflux during the sleep.
My guess is you have achronic digestion or diet problem.
Some drugs or medicines could also causes bad dreams.

You were coughing up your gut feelings. Have you expressed yourself recently?
