I was at a church, preparing for my wedding. I was already dressed in my wedding dress. One with a lovely glittery beaded corset and full flowing skirt. However, my hair and makeup were still needing to be done. So, I went in search for the room where the bride got ready. I went down a long hallway with many doors, and chose one. It turned out to be the room where the groom got ready, but he wasn't there, just his groomsmen. I guess he was in the bathroom or something.

I closed the door and continued my search, eventually I got a church volunteer or employee to help me to the right room. When I walked in, it looked like a salon with a makeup counter and a hairdresser standing next to a styling chair with a mirror and everything. The hairdresser, a guy with very well kept bleach blond hair, even spoke with a fancy foreign accent. He ushered me to the chair, fussing over me and saying how I needed to get my makeup and hair completely redone.

So, he went about his business, washing my hair and pinning it up to style it this way and that. However, he seemed to be taking quite a long time. My hair was still wet, and he had yet to blow it dry. Instead, he seemed preoccupied with cutting it in a particular way and pinning it in a sort of up do. Time seemed to be ticking by at a very fast pace and I began to worry that I would be late to walk down the isle. I didn't want to keep the groom waiting and thinking I had bailed on him.

Eventually, I grow to impatient as the hairdresser wasn't approaching anywhere near done. He had done one side of the hanging tendrils that framed my face, but not the other side. Eventually, I just said "Enough styling", and grabbed my veil and walked out of the room, hair falling back down my back, in messy half done curls. I marched back down the hallway and to the main room of the church where the wedding ceremony was taking place, hoping I wasn't too late.

Then, I "woke up" from that dream to realize I was in this nicely decorated room that the brides were taken to before walking down the isle. It had a nice bed, and an empty space with a mirror to get dressed and everything. I apparently had taken a brief nap before the actual wedding ceremony. I got myself ready and was taken to the main room of the church where the wedding ceremony was taking place, and walked down the isle, feeling happy and anxious at the same time.

Then, the dream sort of skips ahead to the reception in the downstairs reception hall of the church, where I had changed dresses and was receiving guests as they entered the reception hall. I was wearing a tight knee length sleeveless dress, the color of which was either red or blue, I can't remember which, and heels.

Then, the dream skips ahead again and I'm walking along a sidewalk, to the parking lot and it's dark and there is a sense of being in a big city all around me. The sounds, the smells, the sights.

Then I wake up for real.

I don't do interpretation like this awesome Thunderous guy over here, and I'm not into any weddings stuff, just try not to over pay for the planners, you probably want gay stylists for the best wedding ceremony, and bridesmaids need to wear the tackiest outfit, that's the golden rule, right? Have you ever tried lucid dreamin', Artchic? Thanks for sharing your writings, it was cool. For me personally though, the ideal one would be a stormy and rainy wedding day, I'll be nobody like securing the perimeter while talking into a mic on my cuff, come to think of it, your writings lacks any sound, doesn't it? When I cuff a mic, my hubristic, ironic and sarcastic bombshell won't be anything like a fly in your chardonnay that you can digest with your stomach acid, sorry to be too critical but who you were with also matters, I suppose.
