I dreamed that my home was built in the middle of a knee-deep lake. I woke up and got out - the weather was beautiful, I wanted to swim... But the (otherwise crystal-clear) water was covered in dead mosquitoes, as far as the eye could reach. I started walking further and further in the lake, but they were endless. I reached a point with seagulls, some of which were eating the insects, but there were still too many. A bit further there was a city, the lake/river went through and around it, there were people there too. But I kept walking and the problem remained. I wasn't interested about swimming anymore, I just wanted to find out what was happening...
It was strangely intense and has been bugging me (no pun intended)... do you have any idea about what could it mean? |

Maybe the end of summer. Or the end of something annoying in your life. Mosquitoes are obvious annoyance.

Hm... maybe it means I cannot do what I want if I can't bear with some "mosquitoes"... Maybe it's a reminder that people I find unhelpful don't have it as good as I do...
Also I don't have much of a life lately, and don't have fun outside work, so it's probably connected too. If mosquitoes is my endless work, the seagulls could be my (insufficient) efforts to get rid of them, and the town could be all the people who (rightfully) ignore my problems, although I'd like their help. Thanks!!! |
