Hi everyone, I am new to this site and I hope to make some great friends !
I found this site by googling "Premonitions" and "Sleep Paralysis"

I had a premonition when I was 10 years old. When the Twin Towers were attacked. Of course, a lot of people had premonitions about that day and with me being a 10 year old kid no one believed me except for my mom but that could just be a mother's love kind of thing.

Skip ahead to April 29th 2017. I had a dream, with the same feeling I had with the one in 2001. Except this is for far in the future. I have a son, with black hair and I am holding him in bed... and he is talking to me with the intelligence of a 10 year old except he's between 5-6, and we have a strong bond... it feels like it's just me and him.
I thought this dream was weird right away because I was seeing this dream from my own eyes and not like how I usually see my dreams and thats from a distance. So I don't know what to make of it...

I also had sleep paralysis this morning. I've had it before and it was frightening so I knew what was going o this morning but it was different. When I had it 7 years ago I woke up but I couldn't move. People call it "The old hag sitting on your chest" feeling, but this morning I was laying on my side, facing my cat and my eyes were closed but I was awake. I could hear water running and keys dangling and I felt scared, like someone was in my house, my husband is in Greenland so it wasn't him... but I also had a paranoid feeling like that I was drugged. I kept telling myself to move but it felt like I was being held there. I couldn't move for a few minutes.

Does this happen to anyone else?

The black haired son may actually be a part of you in this dream, showing you feel you are intelligent. You have a strong bond with yourself.

Hiya. I've had sleep paralysis before while lying on my side. I did feel pressure on me, but not as much as when I have it lying on my back.

I've heard and seen things before during sleep paralysis, and it usually was in line with the dream I was having previously. I remember when once I was sleeping next to my mom, and after having a nightmare, I woke up and saw in place of her head some sort of demon's. It turned completely around, staring at me, and said some creepy stuff, before turning back around. It looked very, very real at the time. I know now it was part of my dream, but at the time I was paralyzed with fear. I didn't know it at the time, but I was having a really rough childhood, and that could've caused something like that. Another time I was simply awake but couldn't move for about a full hour. I remember looking at my cat and wishing I could move, but I felt peaceful and unafraid. I came in to work late and had to explain it to my supervisor, who was very understanding.

I've heard of people hearing things during sleep paralysis, and I think running water and footsteps fall in line with that. I'm so sorry for the fear it caused though, because I know how scary that can be .

That'll be very interesting if you do eventually have a kid with black hair. I suppose you can tell him about your premonition someday if it does come true! I've never had a premonition, no, but my dreams bring deja vu sometimes in real life. For example, I had a dream of living in a town of houses scattered across steep hills that looked eerily similar to a town I moved into once I was living on my own.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for sharing this with me ! It's nice to know there are others out there that go through the same things as I do.
