First off: I'm no longer the person that I was when I first joined PC. I used to post a lot of my elaborate stories in the dream forum for attention because I used to be attention starved. I don't do that anymore.

Now with that being said, I had a really weird dream last night that I woke up in the middle of the night from because it has me so baffled.

I had a dream that I was living in a house that is bigger than the tiny studio Apt. that I live in.

Parts of the house were infested by oversized insects that seemed to be of different species. There were some insects that looked like bedbugs but were larger in size and quite scary looking.

There were other various breeds that I don't remember that were living among themselves but the weirdest ones that I remember were a trio of massive ladybug looking insects that were the size of a house cat but could spit acid and spin webs much like a spider. This trio was apparently the other insect's "ring leaders".

Anyways, the insects couldn't come near me and harm me while I remained in my bedroom where my computer, TV, video games, and bed as well as bathroom, and supply of food and water were but the moment I exited my bedroom they chased me down with the intent to kill me.

One day I managed to build up the courage to escape and flee and I ran down the hallway past them as they were trying to attack me but I managed to flee out the front door. As soon as I left the house a man approached me saying "son, you can't do this alone because no lone man can stand against such monsters and survive; you will need our help". I accepted his help and a white van parked in front of my house and out came several exterminators complete with gas masks and everything ready to go into the house to kill all of the oversized insects.

They finished the job and I thanked them before going back inside. I went back into my bedroom ready to go to sleep but as I did, a lone insect survived and came inside my bedroom.

This is where the dream ended.

That is pretty amazing and sounds like quite a dream/nightmare.

What you say does make a lot of sense, however, I have one question.

Would this mean that I'm somehow afraid of my inner demons? I ask because in this dream, the insects couldn't touch me in my bedroom because it is was my "safe area" much like when I was growing up and facing the problems that I had to deal with from my mother and bullies at school, my bedroom which had my computer where I spent countless hours playing games, watching videos, and reading was the only place that I felt "safe".

The web spinning bugs could mirrored how you talked and behaved toward others at one time. The web got people caught up in your behavior. It could also represent the web that you were caught up with your Family. Fleeing your safe place, you grew and got rid of those past behaviors. Thus your healing.
