I keep having dreams about going to therapy and there's always someone else with me and my therapist. Once I walk into the room and see this other person (one time it was another client, another time it was someone else taking notes), I get upset and walk out.

There has never been someone else in a therapy session with me except for the one time I brought my mom. It's a recurring dream that always happens in a different location. Of the 4 times it's happened, only once was my real-life therapist replaced with someone else. But she appeared in that dream once I left the room.

I don't talk about dreams with my T and I don't like over analyzing them but I can't seem to figure this one out and it keeps happening...

Dreams are mirrors, thus that other person is really you talking with your therapist, or taking notes. You are seeing your self learning. Learning can be upsetting.
