Ibuprofen and Tylenol PM are just Ibuprofen (an NSAID) or Tylenol with Benadryl. If you are only trying for sleep, just take the Benadryl as the additional pain med can stress your kidneys/liver.

Seroquel is and anti-psychotic and for some it helps sleep and others can get night terrors and other side effects. I would work hard on my sleep hygiene and try everything else (camomile tea, melatonin, etc.) first to see if I could fix my sleep without such powerful meds.

Meds take a couple of weeks to get used to.

When I first got prescribed meds, I could barely get out of bed for about a week.

Keep with them, they eventually begin to hold less and less of your energy.

Seroquel is useful. It is a dopamine antagonist, D1 mainly. Can make you a bit slow and spacey/ tired in the day. and other side effects. After a few months still felt I had some problems with it. Not constantly but enough.
