Hello,
I have been on Seroquel for about a week and a half, and I have had strange dreams since the first night of taking it. My dreams are super bizzare, but interesting. I wind up forgetting the dreams shortly after waking up, but I always know they were odd. I was wondering if everyone who goes on Seroquel will have lucid dreams? If so, when do they start? I am assuming that I just have not reached that point yet since I am fairly new to the medication.

I found a 2011 thread about your concern, Dowdy.
https://forums.psychcentral.com/psyc...id-dreams.html An internet search produced results about how drugs like Seroquel interferes with REM sleep and causes mood and behavior changes as side effects. A safe way to monitor the effects of the drug on your system is to keep a daily journal. Esp. around bedtime and first thing in the morning. Write down how you feel at bedtime, and again, first thing in the morning. Write down the type of dream you had. Then, you can track how the Seroquel is effecting your mental health and physical health, as well as your sleep. |

I personally didn't. It knocked me out pretty hard. I don't remember the sleep quality on it. If it affects REM, I imagine you'll have to try it and see how your dreams respond.
