Hello pk: I don't know anything about dream interpretation. (There certainly are members, here on PC, who do though.) However I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

here are links to some articles from PsychCentral's archives that may be of interest:

https://psychcentral.com/lib/how-to-...its-important/

https://psychcentral.com/blog/brain-...s-of-dreaming/

https://psychcentral.com/blog/an-ori...reting-dreams/

I don't know, of course, if you're here simply seeking advice with regard to this particular concern or if you plan to hang in here with us. However, should you be planning to continue on (we hope you do)... may I suggest you introduce yourself over on PC's New Member Introductions forum? Here's a link:

There's a lot of support that can be available here on PC. The more you post, & reply to other members' posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are the chat rooms where you'll be able to interact with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) So please keep posting!

There are books on the subject but a lot depends on the person and his/her own life and personality. The subconscious speaks in dreams but it's language is usually by symbols. Cars or bikes or any vehicle usually refer to one's own body. A back yard or basement means something in your deeper mind or subconsciousness. Being naked in public means your true feelings are being exposed.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
