At about the age of 6 I had several recurring dreams.
In one I was confronted with a monster. The monster always had a special power that I would have to overcome in order to kill it. Finally I dreamed about a monster who's special power was that it couldn't die. I was terrified by this dream night after night until my mom took me to the doctor's for it. Finally I had the dream again and using telekinesis and concentration I was able to lock the monster into a giant cage. I steadily lowered the cage into a great squared out hole in the ground the size of a small house. I lowered the cage in and covered it. Then I stopped having the nightmare. As an adult I assumed that the monster was my abuser (molested me between ages of 3 and 8). But now I wonder if the monster was me, either because I must be something awful to be getting abused this way or because the abuse made me into something awful. I also had a fear that I was satanic. I also had a fear that all humans turned into skull-faced monsters the moment I wasn't looking at them. |

The Monster was your abuser. No question about it.
