Recently I've had three dreams about people, who have passed away, coming back home. Two were not to their own home, a new home and I was helping setting it up. One was to a home I knew.
I can't tell if they are coming home to me or I'm joining them in their new home.
Any thoughts?

Are they people you loved? If so I always take that as a positive thing. Mine are usually positive dreams and I welcome them.

I wonder if there's any relevance in these interpretations of your dream Trace14. it's from a dream website I like:

"To see or talk to the dead in your dream forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. Alternatively, the dream symbolizes material loss."

But also:

"To see and talk with your dead parents in your dream is a way of keeping them alive. It is also a way of coping with the loss. You are using your dream as a last opportunity to say your final good-byes to them.

To see your dead sibling, relative, or friend alive in your dream indicates that you miss them and are trying to relive your old experiences you had with them. In trying to keep up with the pace of your daily waking life, your dreams may serve as your only outlet in coping and coming to terms with the loss of a loved one."

Hopefully it can give an insight.

I also dream of people who have passed away and it usually ends with a kiss on the lips. I feel it like it is reality in the dream, but then i wake up and it feels so good and i think about it all day the next day. My sister who committed suicide did come to me in a dream and kissed me too and it is one thing i still think about.I felt like i was in heaven.

In some dreams they can represent parts of yourself. See what you had in common with them.

I was in the dreams. The one with my Dad I was helping him set up this elaborate new house. Way too big for just him. But that's all I remember of that dream.
Then another one, my ex partner that recently died was in it. She and I were some where and she was acting like a jerk.
The last one was at an old house I was familiar with in my neighborhood. Two elderly women lived there, a mother and daughter. The mother was coming home from somewhere and we were getting things done around her house so she would not have them to do when she got home.

Any of this make sense?

It sounds like you are trying to FIX something for these individuals in your dreams. This is something you had done a lot in your life, "fixing" to make it better for others.

You are probably ruminating a lot about the loss you suffered and how you could not stop it from happening.

It's important to keep in mind that this is something "normal" to how we are set up because when we suffer a loss that is sudden and traumatic, we are designed to WANT to find ways to prevent, it's because of this that we have learned a great deal in how we can prevent and gain more knowledge so we can survive through a lot of challenges.

The human brain and even the body does a lot of "healing" and repairing while we sleep. It's restoring and healing and trying to refresh and problem solve. Actually, one of the reasons we came up with this idea that ghosts etc. only haunt at night and often around 3 in the morning is that is the common time most go into rem sleep and can experience these nightmares where often what they dream can feel so "real" and vivid and one can even wake up frightened by their own dreams.

Our brains take in a lot more information during the day than we realize. While we sleep our brains sort and in that sorting often discards things that are not important enough to store.

So, what these dreams were reflecting is your own effort to try to come up with how you can come to some kind of resolve about your ongoing challenge. So, somehow your mind was experimenting in a way with finding homes for these deceased individuals.

Or maybe make sure they were okay where ever they were? It was odd that these three dreams came back to back. Only saw the last one being close to completion of what I was doing.

Dreams can be weird to say the least Trace. The brain wanders a lot while we sleep and can take some of our own challenges like maybe our own house isn't in order in some way and connect that with individuals that we think about from time to time and we are somehow challenged with them.
