I’ve never had full blown insomnia. I’ve always gotten at least two hours of sleep. I don’t know why I can’t sleep. But it might have been because I watched some TV shows on my bright kindle for 3.5 hours and I had a coke at 5 in the afternoon. I did have some alcohol that I don’t usually drink, but I thought alcohol was supposed to make you drowsy?
Anyways it’s 2:30 and I’m not sure if I should just stay up or try to get some sleep. I’m worried because I have to start work at 6:30 Tuesday morning. And if I sleep in until 11 I might have another bad night and I don’t want it to affect Tuesday. Not to mention I have a 7:30 dentist appointment Wednesday morning. So I probably royally effed up my sleep schedule no matter what I choose to do, but is staying up tonight a good idea and then getting to bed at like 6:30-7 this evening? What do you do when you can’t sleep this late? Do you go to sleep or stay up? I know I probably shouldn’t be using my bright phone though. |

My meds have been giving me insomnia for 3 mths! I usually toss and turn. Sleeping pills don't work.

I just lay in bed and watch TV usually, but I know some people say they get up and do things until they feel more tired because it's not as frustrating as laying in bed not being able to sleep.
Also some people suggest reading a book because it will help you get drowsy. |

I ended up falling asleep at 4 and waking up at 10. I hope if I go to bed around 8 I'll be fine.
