I have a lot of bad dreams. I'd dare to say almost all of them are bad dreams.

I do have a recurring dream and yet it's not exactly the same every time.

My dream consists of a labyrinth. It's in different locations every time. It has been in an underground cave of ice, a castle in England, childhood home, building basement, the revolving stairs of my old highschool, streets of my home tow, ect.

In fact one of the earliest dreams I can ever remember is a labyrinth dream that took place in a lava cave when I was 6. It is always a race with a life and death situation twist. There were people I didn't know that I was racing against and also cartoons lol. Some would fall to their deaths as we ran along narrow pathways and smashed into sheets of pouring lava. At first I was really bad at getting through the labyrinth in the dreams I remember. For this first one I wake up before I die right near the end.

The Ice cave is nearly the same but with classmates and people I think I know in the dream but I've never actually met in real life. The same goes for the basement, kinda. Except in the basement it was either all tinted green or my vision was just like that. People I did legitimately know were there in various forms of distress and paranoia. Eventually I pass out but when I awake in my dream I'm boiling alive from the inside and my flesh is starting to congeal on the outside as I walk naked seeing only the skyline and balm trees down a long empty street (I think this part may just be the fear of my lamictal going wrong and giving me the dreaded rash side effect)

The castle in England was way more intricate. I was a priest of some kind (Only figured that out by looking in a pool of metallic water). I was being hunted down and was running through the castle for an impossibly long time. The one's pursuing me were giant deformed monsters that look like they came out of the manga 'Berserk' tbh. They had an intricate way of killing though which I can elaborate on if anyone cares to know lol. Regardless, in that dream I actually escaped the Labyrinth which is something I had never done before. Usually I would either die or wake up before it was over. Funny enough my friend was there to take me on a boat to get away. Apparently a celebration was taking place and fireworks were going off as I finally awake.

Unfortunately only a short while later I had another dream of my childhood home. I was in my old house which I had run out on last year from the abuse I was receiving. The labyrinth looked like it was still under construction with paint cans around and exposed drywall. I was running right into it this time to get away from my brother (A major perpetrator of abuse in my household) It was still like i knew every part of it even as it was being made; even with my brother screaming and running after me. I can still feel my heart rate up when I think about it. Then I wake up.

So that's some of what I've had so far. I've had more than just these but 16 years worth of dreams is a lot to write lol.

Do tell me what ya'll make of it though. I'm very curious to know.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about dream interpretation. There are others, here on PC, who do though. Hopefully some of them will see your post & reply. In the meantime, however, here are links to some articles, from PsychCentral's archives, on the subject of dream interpretation. Perhaps some of the information in these articles will offer some clues as to the significance of your dreams:

I rarely have "bad" dreams, but when I do? I have a "dream power" I guess you would say. If I am chased or threatened, I run into the nearest corner, then turn around. And when I do, it is like i have turned pure evil, and whatever is chasing me I beat nearly to death while it begs me for mercy.

For the most part...my dreams are wandering and make very little sense.
