I just found this forum. I have the symptoms of parasomnia. I have slept walk since I was 4 but now (I’m 39) I sleep walk and do things like logging into my computer or I’ve walked outside. I now see the things as I do them but I don’t logically think about why I’m doing it until I fully wake up. I feel I need to get a sleep study done as well but I’m nervous to do it. I also see that this neurological disorder comes from my dad’s side of the family as he has schizophrenia / Parkinson’s and his mom has dementia and his grandfather had Alzheimer’s. I came across a podcast that discussed this disorder and stated that there is light therapy that may help. So I am interested in finding a neurologist who knows about this therapy.
