I dreamt I was at the beach with my husband. We were up on a small hill, overlooking the ocean. I looked to my right as waves rolled in on the beach below. As each wave crashed onto the sand a beautiful, intricate crystalline structure formed in the air out of the mist or spray of the wave. This happened 5 or 6 times. It was like nothing I've ever seen before. It almost felt as if a portal was formed out of the crystalline structure.

I looked back at the ocean and saw a huge tsunami wave approaching. I've had this dream before. Those other times I was very afraid of the tsunami wave. This time I wasn't afraid, as I knew I would survive the wave. I don't know how I knew, but I knew the wave wouldn't hurt me. But I still felt compelled to "hold on." So I told my husband to wrap his arms around a huge pole and "hold on." The dream ended before the tsunami wave crashed.

The world is changing rapidly. Our encounters with people right now, in these moments, are really important, even if they are negative encounters. Every way we turn we see reflections of ourselves. If we are purging our darkness, we will meet others who push us to purge and grow. The lessons are in in the interactions of life. We learn who we are through our interactions with others. At the end of our purge, the emotional waves that previously wiped us out, instead create beautiful, intricate crystalline patterns that reflect the beauty of who we are when we are finally purged of the darkness we give refuge to from our many, many painful experiences in life. So when the final tsunami wave arrives, we don't need to be afraid of it, as it won't hurt us. It arrives to be the one last push towards finding your authentic self.

Hugs and thanks to everyone who read my post. I think the last paragraphs is the message that was given to me in the dream itself. It's something I think about during my interactions with others. Every moment is an opportunity to learn more about myself and others, even the negative encounters.
Thanks for this!

Well said and I too often have dreams very similar. A recurring pattern i've noticed is a giant tidal wave so big it covers the horizon, rushing straight towards land but instead of feeling an overwhelming panic, I feel a sense of calm and acceptance - like you mentioned, "This time I wasn't afraid, as I knew I would survive the wave. I don't know how I knew, but I knew the wave wouldn't hurt me." Sometimes I even dive into the wave knowing that everything will be okay.

Thanks for sharing, I always wondered if others had similar dream occurrences.

That was beautiful, really.

You would be a talented writer, if you are not one already.
