Dream of lights going out and odd behavior

I had a dream where I was at my work at a high school. A class period ended and students began going to their next period class while teachers stood outside their rooms. I was about to head to a class with a student. Pretty normal, everything seemed fine at first, but then everyone’s behavior changed instantly. It suddenly became very quiet and everyone who were in the halls stopped moving. Some of those who were in the hall just randomly sat down right where they were standing.

At that point, small sections of lights began going out at the opposite end of the hall. I was sensing real danger and was going to take the initiative to put the class room in a lockdown. One of my coworkers was out in the hall too. I told her to get inside very quickly. She said she was coming but she was walking extremely slowly, almost as if she didn’t care or was affected by whatever was happening. The dream ended there, the hallway nearly in complete darkness and I was about to go barricade the classroom door. Very weird dream, kind of creepy.

You may have been heading in to some real danger in real life and stopped short of it. Others were unaware of this danger. You were very protective of yourself and others.

Yeah makes sense.
