I've had 4 hours and I don't feel sleepy. It's also almost 5am and I've been up for 1.5 hours. I do have a lot of anxiety. It's been a rough few days. And there is a lot on my mind. I know I need sleep, but it's not happening. Normally my sleep is good but the last few weeks I've gotten less, then more the next day, and stay in that pattern alternating hours. Today is the least amount of sleep I've had. I've had two days of sui thinking that lasted less than a half hour and I stayed around people. I've got so assignments that are due asap. I need to just get up and get it done. But there is a part of me that says no, drop out and take care of your crap before it gets worse. Then the other side is maybe I need the push of school to get it done.

I might as well try, maybe I'll eat something, and next time I won't eat so close to bed time.
Hugs from:

The lack of sleep is a side effect of the stress you have going on in your life and the anxiety from that stress is effecting your hormone levels which effects your serotonin levels which is why you get insomnia.

Since your in college/high school (I don't know) you can ask your teacher right now to take an Incomplete. That will mean you are given an "I" grade and your assignment deadlines will be extended. If your teacher refuses to give you an Incomplete, ask your registrar to give you a "W" or Withdraw grade from your current course/s. Having one "W" on your transcript isn't the end of the world. Or, ask for a Medical Leave. It will still appear as a "W" but for medical reasons. Talk to your registrar about your options.

If you think you can finish your assignments, try do to that. But if you know you are too overwhelmed right now, then you need to take a semester off.
