I keep having dreams about a net poster from a board I used to go to. In the first dream me and the net poster were on a boat we were hiding inside the boat and I was holding a kitten. We both were afraid of someone who was coming after us and we made an agreement to protect each other, but then the boat started sinking and water was seeping in where we were hiding, we tried to put up barriers and keep the water from gushing in but couldnt, then I remember looking at the net poster and realizing some thing very bad from my own perception just happened from that person, like they couldnt control themself, and I got nauseated and woke up.

In the 2nd dream I was hanging out with the same net poster and they had a dog, the dog was real cute and we were enjoying a sunny day we were going to go to the park and throw a frisbee, but then we became aware that someone was going to hurt the dog and we had to hide the dig, then suddenly the net poster was gone and I had to hide there dog for them but then I woke up

In the last dream we were at someones house there were a lot of people there it was some kind of get together we were having fun, it was kind of cramped and crowded and loud music and drinking ( even though I dont drink) there were these weird stairs we were standing on and the net poster told me the dog I had watched was dead and I woke up

I don't even really know this person we talked one time and so I dont know why i keep having dreams with them in it. Its so weird

the first thing i wonder when i read your post is if you somehow contected with this poster the one time you talked. It sounds like you must have had something in common like they could relate to you about something personal.

In your dreams they all have a similiar feeling. You and this person share something important and you want to help each other. But in the end that person disappears or fails you in some way. I get the feeling that in real life you wanted to talk to this person a second time but they failed you by not being there.
Thanks for this!

I really never talked to the person except once in an accusatory paranoid way. I don't know why I dreamt of that person but in the dreams it just felt like we were very close friends hiding out together. I have not been back to that board and so it is weird to keep dreaming of that person three times in one week. However, we did have an appreciation for good music and we both like to be jokey online. Perhaps those similiarites somehow connected my subconscious mind to the net poster. Otherwise Im not sure why I keep dreaming about the person. I certainly was closer to other people from that board and Ive kept in touch with 3 of them. I had a big falling out with another poster there that I left unresolved so Im not sure why I keep dreaming of this seeming nobody who I had no involvement with when I was at that board ha ha. Thanks for your feedback and insight

I would like to guess even though you have made some attempt to described talking to a person in an 'accusatory paranoid' way. I'm pretty sure this is not what the dream is about on a deeper level.

The kitten and the dog are soft and cuddly but you changed the kitten to a dog in dream 2 and 3. Something scarry was happening (as the water getting in). The kitten was too close to reality, soft and cuddly so you needed to change it to a little dog in the park. Less intimate but still cute.

The boat was a bit too close for comfort, the park was more space between, the party had the safety of other people who were busy partying so it was still close but really disguised. You have to keep getting further away from the water getting in because you think if you bring it up you will be harmed again! By the way, this won't happen, you will, in reality be better off if you look at it again, in the safety of your T's office. I would encourage you to put on courage and go for it. It is not a dead issue. It will just keep transforming into something till you get help and face it.

Someone mentioned to me once that the dreamer is actually 'all the actors' in the dream. Getting close to yourself can seem scary if it means finding something out about yourself that may seem terrifying and my guess is it's from your distant past. This dream is trying to tell you something. You put up 'barriers' (your descriptive word in the 1st dream) to knowing.

If you are in therapy you could look at working through the resistance (barriers) in a safe place to discover more about yourself in relation to yourself.

Hopefully you won't give up seeking the deep truth.

You seem pretty playful, adventurous and for sure an animal lover. Take care.
Thanks for this!

I would like to make an unprofessional guess even though you have made some attempt to say it might be about talking to a person in an 'accusatory paranoid' way. I'm pretty sure this is not what the dream is about on a deeper level.

By the way, this won't happen, you will, in reality be better off if you look at it again, in the safety of your T's office. I would encourage you to put on courage and go for it. It is not a dead issue. It will just keep transforming into something till you get help and face it, all very unprofessional, however.

Shelle--

I would ask you what this poster symbolizes or represents that is a possible unowned part of you?

Sounds like the themes are having a good time that turns bad, protecting something innocent like a kitten or a dog, and being let down.
Thanks for this!

the net poster was a silly person, liked to joke around and had good taste in music. I suspected for a moment the net person was a hacker and asked them if they were and they denied it. But I don't really know them much otherwise the traits they repsented were, mischievious and silly, music lover.
