Hi,

I wrote a while back that I quit smoking on St. Patty's day...well I haven't touched one since that day. I am not even using the nicitrol inhaler anymore. It's great. I actually still have money at the end of the month and actually can go out with a friend, well that's when we were doing stuff and were actually talking, and do things.

I can if I need to get something extra at the store. I don't have to really worry around the 10th of the month where I am going to get the money to buy cigs. I am really proud of myself...it's hard to admitt that, but I am. My mom is too, she brings it up every time we talk or see each other and everyone at her work knows too, and they bring it up everytime I go there for a visit...which is getting pretty old and things like that. I mean it's nice to get the compiments from them about this, but I think it's time to move on. But that's just how I see it.

Now I just wish my dad and step-mom would quit...not only for health reasons but man does the money go fast and I can so see it with them. But it's their money and their choice and I haven't said one thing to them about quitting or anything like that. Not my position to say anything and I know that they have smoked all their lives and it's not somethng that you can just quit like that.

So anyways, also haven't been to the casino in that long either, was close to going the other day, but decided i just wanted to really get out of the house and didn't go with them. I stayed home with the dog and did nothing, so actually was nice because it was peaceful.

Well, that's the update...thanks for all the support.

Hugs,
Jen
