I have one more cigarette left, and it's my last one.

I just don't want to do it anymore. The shame, trying to hide the smell on my clothes, the sore throats, constantly fighting the yellowing of my teeth, my skin is ruined...

More than that, I just can't depend on a substance anymore. I need to depend on God, my husband, and myself.

So I bought a Smoker's Cleanse from Renew Life. I start detoxifying myself in the morning. I'm also starting another vitamin supplement to help curb my additional anxiety on top of my SSRI. If I can't do it this way, I don't know what will help me. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy starts on Thursday. My husband and I are in a marriage class for the next three months, too. This is a new start for me, and I just wanted to put it out there so that I don't lose my brain and forget how important this is. If there's anyone out there who can say something to help me keep going with this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks Suki!! (Did you know Suki is a specific fit of Silver jeans? Random, but, I used to be in charge of the denim section at a clothing store.... Anyways.....)

It's a blended vitamin called True Calm. It's high in Vitamin B, GABA, Glycine, and Taurine. That all sounds like gibberish to me, but I've heard good things. It's supposed to calm my anxiety down and somewhat stabilize my moods since I won't have the cigarettes to do that for me anymore! I'll definitely let everyone know how it goes. I'm excited!
