Due to stress, I smoked alot today and now I feel VERY guilty. I was managing to keep my smoking down to a couple a day but today I just lost control and puffed away.

Tomorrow I need to jump back on the cutting back bandwagon.

Its hard though when I am stressed to not smoke.

Le sigh.

I wish I had advice but I just lit my seventh cigarette off my fifth. I'll read other people's good advice along with you.

Well, I am sitting here chomping on nicorrette gum, wishing I had a smoke.

I did not do too bad yesterday--5 or 6 total. The gum really helps me.

Good luck....I think we all need a bit of luck with this.

A friend of mine is trying to quit - it's her last addiction after alcohol and drugs and she's on a med that she says is really helping. I think it's called Chiantix - she says it not only cuts down on cravings but blocks the pleasure she gets from smoking.

I wish everyone luck who is trying to quit. I've never smoked but hear it's really tough to stop.

I have my script for Chantix but haven't filled it yet. I have time. Quit date is mid January.
